The only way to decode the past is to save the future. Archeaologist Sheppard Smyth has staked his career and the honorable memory of his wife and partner on proving his widely panned theory: Cleopatra VII, the last sovereign pharaoh of Egypt, was not a victim of suicide as history suggests, but of a well-concealed murder. When a statue of the doomed Queen is unearthed in a pre-Columbian excavation site in Mexico, Shep […]

RAK: June

Sign-ups and lists of participating people for the month are viewable at Book Soulmates. This month was better for RAKs, at least in terms of equality. I sent and received the same number of books during the month. Received: […]

RAK: May

I think I picked a bad month to start back up with RAK. I was so busy all month that I never got a chance to send out any books. I did receive an awesome one though. As mentioned in my IMM post from April 15: Sins of the Angels (Grigori Legacy #1) by Linda Poitevin – Linda contacted me and offered me a copy when she saw it on my RAK wishlist. As long as I was okay with the fact that she made notes in it for a reading she did. Signed with author notes? Umm… of course […]
