Review: Boundary Lines

While I really loved the first book in this series as it featured a null and a main heroine with no paranormal abilities, this second book was less ground breaking. Charlie (the null) wasn’t really in this story, and Lex isn’t a plain-Jane human anymore. These changes put this book strictly into regular UF territory, and while it was exciting and fun, it’s wasn’t as original. Review: Boundary Crossed

A new series that returns to the world of nulls? Count me in. I greatly enjoyed the previous series, and this one is off to a promising start. With a tough heroine and lots of action, this story was exciting and thrilling. Lex was a great heroine. Unlike most Urban Fantasy heroines, she doesn’t have a troubling past, she isn’t an expert in everything paranormal, and she isn’t something really extraordinary.
