For the first time in a while, I got a few books from the library. Three actually, all of which are listed below as read, because I obviously had to get to them as quick as possible. I’m not sure the librarian believed I actually read them when I returned each of them within 2 days of getting them though.

Books read:
Mortal HeartMortal Heart – I really enjoyed this trilogy ender, and was surprised at how sweet and romantic the overall feel was.

Lacy EyeLacy Eye – This was an intriguing story that revolves around a horrific event.

Sixth Grave on the EdgeSixth Grave on the Edge – While I love this series, this wasn’t my favourite book. It felt a little forced in the beginning, and a bit scattered, but there were lots of highly amusing bits.

Magic StudyMagic Study – This was utterly delightful. I was able to jump right into the world and characters, and had a very fun read.

Books received:
This week sees two new incoming books. Technically, there were a few library books too, but since they’re listed above as finished, I decided to not include them here too.

  1. I have lacy eye too…will have to get to it…sooner! Now that I know you enjoyed it 🙂 that’s funny about the library! I have reading envy, I need to get back into my good habits.

    • Lacy eye is good! I think I got into more than I was expecting as I actually know someone who had a similar situation (injured in home invasion with husband killed) but their children were not involved. It’s just such a scary situation to imagine.

  2. I’ve been meaning to start reading the Grave Mercy series because it sounds really awesome. Fantasy is the best! I hope you have a great week. 🙂

    • The Grave Mercy series is really good! It so much more than just assassins, which surprised me in a good way. As if assassin nuns wasn’t enough.
