Feb 152015

Eek, it’s my blogiversary already! I just posted about it yesterday, so I won’t go on and on again, but I love blogiversaries so I’m pretty excited about it.

Reading wise, this was a great week. I actually finished 2 audiobooks this week, which is pretty crazy. I’m not sure I’ve ever done that before.

Books read:
The Life I Left BehindThe Life I Left Behind – This was almost overwhelmingly depressing. Melody’s narration was just so filled with pain and sadness, it made this really hard to read.

The ExileThe Exile – This felt like a cross between Urban Fantasy and Epic Fantasy, and was really exciting and fun. I want the next book now, and this one isn’t even published yet.

Hunter's TrailHunter’s Trail – There were several instances where I was laughing so hard I was almost crying. This is one series I am loving more with each book.

Kitty Hawk and the Tragedy of the RMS TitanicKitty Hawk and the Tragedy of the RMS Titanic – I am so disappointed in Kitty’s behaviour and attitude. I feel like such a mom saying that, but I am just so disappointed because she should have known better.

Tangled ThreadsTangled Threads – I love the mix of single book plot and overall series plot that this book encompassed. It makes for a very satisfying read.

The Prophecy ConThe Prophecy Con – Yes, I just got this and read it right away. So amusing.

Books received:
I almost had another week with no incoming books. But then I had an extended multi-day Twitter conversation that resulted in me finding out there was a sequel to a book I liked, so I had to buy it right away (The Prophecy Con). Then I got the chance to get a copy of The Damned, and since it’s been on my wishlist since it was first announced, you better believe I jumped for joy and snatched it up.
