Nov 302014

The end of November already. This month was very busy for me with a trip home to see my family in Ontario. It was a great visit. I didn’t get all the posts scheduled that I planned on, and since coming back, I just haven’t had the motivation to get writing. Hopefully this is a short term thing and regular posting begins again soon.

Books read:

In November – 12
Year-to-date – 149!

Favourite book of the month: This was a really hard choice because I really loved almost all the books I read this month. I think I’m going to go with The Impossible Knife of Memory by Laurie Halse Anderson because it felt so raw, and I can still remember all the feelings I had while reading it early in the month.

Noteworthy Happenings:

This month I discussed blog stats, using my real numbers, and travelling with books, to which I can only say yay for ereaders. I also talked about the posting options when you come back from a break, even though I haven’t really come back fully.

Challenge Status:

2014 TBR Pile Reading Challenge – 33/40 – no movement this month as I read mostly eARCs

What’s coming in December?

Is it already the end of the year? I haven’t even started planning for that, or Christmas. Yikes.

    Happy December reading!

  2. You did wonderful! I’ve only read about 4-5 books this month 😀

  3. I hope you get your bloggy mojo back soon, but it can be a struggle staying on top of it all, especially with the holiday’s rights around the corner. Can you believe that it’s December already!? I haven’t even started my shopping yet. URGH! You better get cracking on your 2014 TBR Pile Reading Challenge; only 1 month left, and 7 books to go. You can do it!!!

  4. I know the feeling of trying to get back in the swing of things, I’ve been behind on posts all month! I’m hoping to catch up completely this next week.

I’ve always wanted to read The Impossible Knife Of Memory, I’ve heard such great things about!

Hope you’re having a great week!
