Mar 312014

Another month over already. Spring is definitely on its way here, even if it’s not in other parts of the country. I’m really looking forward to the next two months. My birthday is coming very soon, and I have quite a bit of time off in April, so I’m hoping to get lots of nice weather outside, and lots of reading done.

Books read:

In March – 10
Year-to-date – 36

Favourite book of the month: An easy choice for me. Flawed Perfection by Cassandra Giovanni left me with a book hangover so strong that I didn’t even want to look at another book for days.
Flawed Perfection

Noteworthy Happenings:

I had several discussion posts this month: declaring myself a book reviewer instead of a book blogger, why I read old books and not just new ones, my struggles with using social media as a book blogger, and the apparent rising popularity of duologies.

Challenge Status:

2014 Audio Book Challenge – 5/12
2014 Ebook Challenge – 18/50
2014 Prequel and Sequel Challenge – 31/50
2014 TBR Pile Reading Challenge – 19/31
Canadian Book Challenge 7 – 12/13

What’s coming in April?

As I mentioned above, my birthday is coming up, this week actually. Other than that, I don’t really have much planned. I’ve been looking for an Easter giveaway hop, or any other April giveaway hop, to join, but I haven’t been finding anything. Does anyone know of one? I’d like to do a giveaway sometime in April, but it’s always more fun to join a hop.
