This was a quick, cold week. The temperatures aren’t Ontario or Alberta cold, but it’s definitely been below freezing, and when you aren’t used to wearing a real winter coat, a frozen over pond seems crazy cold. It’s amazing how quick you get used to living in a temperate weather climate. At least the cold has been accompanied by sunny clear skies.
Betrayed – This is a guilty pleasure read, a total slightly-over-the-top teen drama.
Small as an Elephant – This was a surprisingly delightful story. I was expecting a tearjerker, but I only cried once at the end.
Spider’s Bite – This was an exciting start to an urban fantasy series that I can’t believe I haven’t read before. The audiobook is brought to life with a Southern drawl and just the right hint of attitude.
