I have never been so happy to live in mild BC than I have this week. It seems like the whole country from Alberta east has been fighting crazy cold snow storms this week. It almost makes me feel bad to complain about the damp chilly just-above-freezing temperatures we’ve been experiencing. Almost, but the chill here is still something I can’t shake. At least with snow you can bundle up and get warm. Wet cold is something you can’t bundle away. At least it makes curling up with a book easy to justify.
The Twisted Tragedy of Miss Natalie Stewart – A toned down, slightly disappointing follow-up book.
The Cloud Seeders – A serious and slightly depressing dystopian.
Rosemary and Rue – An exciting story that had some unfortunately confusing parts in the beginning.
Old City Hall – A fast paced police procedural that highlights Toronto as the setting.
Under These Restless Skies by Lissa Bryan – Netgalley find
Sea of Shadows (Age of Legends #1) by Kelley Armstrong – Netgalley find
The Devil You Know (Demon Legacy #1) by J.M. Gregoire – After reading her Open Letter to Indie Authors, how could I not pick up one of her books to try?
