I hope everyone had a great Christmas, and survived boxing day. I don’t usually go boxing day shopping. I don’t like crowds, and I rarely see anything on sale that would be worth the hassle.

Books read:
Journey Into the FlameJourney Into the Flame – I gave up at almost the half way point. There was too much complexity and layers to the conspiracies. I kept getting lost, and with a lack of action, it wasn’t worth slogging through.

SelaSela – A fun and delightful YA dragon story about family and love.

Mind GamesMind Games – An exciting story featuring unique paranormal abilities. The only downside was the unexpected amount of sexuality in the story.

CrossedCrossed – I finally got to the 2nd book in the trilogy, and while I loved the first one, this one seemed a bit generic and I kept mixing up whether it was Ky’s chapter or Cassia’s.

Books received:
I went a little crazy on Netgalley this week:

Precious Thing A Taste Fur Murder The Lost Sisterhood

Precious Thing by Colette McBeth
A Taste Fur Murder (Whiskey, Tango & Foxtrot Mystery #1) by Dixie Lyle
The Lost Sisterhood: A Novel by Anne Fortier

I also went a little crazy on Boxing Day on Amazon, snapping up some bargains for books that were already on my wishlist. In my defense, all the books were less than $2 each:

The Twisted Tragedy of Miss Natalie Stewart Trail of Dead 15 Minutes Night Blade The Breakers Series

The Twisted Tragedy of Miss Natalie Stewart (Magic Most Foul #2) by Leanna Renee Hieber
Trail of Dead (Scarlett Bernard #2) by Melissa F. Olson
15 Minutes (Rewind Series #1) by Jill Cooper
Night Blade (Colbana Files #2) by J.C. Daniels
The Breakers Series: Books #1-3 by Edward W. Robertson
