The sick. I hate when it visits my house. My son has had a bad cold since early this week. He always get the runny noise variety. His poor skin between his nose and mouth are just raw, and his lips are so dry they’re almost cracking. I keep putting lip balm on him, but I don’t know what to do about the raw skin.
I’ve only had a touch of the sick, in the sore throat and ear variety. It’s the version I usually get, and it makes me so tired and drained. Luckily, my husband has not been sick, because like the stereotype, he is the worst at being sick. Here’s hoping my son and I get better soon.
