This year has started out great, especially reading-wise. Having no reading commitments this month as allowed me to read whatever I feel like, and it’s having great results so far. If I could just get last year’s revews finished, then you got really see what I mean.

Outside of reading, the main focus this week has been on the weather. It is insanely warm here. All the snow is now gone, which is crazy for mid-January. With temperatures this weekend of 10 degrees Celsius (50F) when the average is usually -10C (14F), it feels like spring. I have been trying like mad to find rain boots for my son, but no stores have them. Needless to say, we have been playing outside lots, which is always fun.

Books read:
A relaxed mystery book that stands alone from the first.

Intense and emotional, this is a must-read book.

A fun and youthful story with mystery and humour artfully woven together.

Books received:
none
