This has been a great reading week. Now to just have a great review writing week, lol.

Books read:

Y The Last Dragonslayer The Tree of Everlasting Knowledge Blink
Y – I’ve seen so many glowing reviews, but I’m not sure I loved it myself. It is definitely full of beautiful and lyrical writing though.
The Last Dragonslayer – Fun and quirky! This was a great younger YA read.
The Tree of Everlasting Knowledge – This story was much complex than I expected, with both good romance and bad child abuse.
Blink – This book is all about the imagery, which is written quite beautifully.

Books received:

The Athena Effect The Sun, the Moon and Maybe the Trains The Iron King The Age of Miracles
The Athena Effect by Derrolyn Anderson – Look for a very cool giveaway to celebrate the book release later this month.
The Sun, the Moon and Maybe the Trains by Rodney Jones – For a book tour in October.
The Iron King by Julie Kagawa – Received in a trade, and yes I know I am behind the times since I haven’t even read the first book yet.
The Age of Miracles by Karen Thompson Walker – Received in a trade.

Winners:
none

  1. I’ve seen Y around a lot lately, but hadn’t heard much about it. It sounds interesting.

THE IRON KING! I loved this series. :)
