So this was obviously a very slow reading week. But that’s okay, it happens. I was pretty tired the first part of the week, then my son was sick, and now I’m sick. Boo to that.

Books read:

Katrina The Protectors
This series is a unique twist on vampires, and is lots of fun, but it’s not without its flaws.

GlimpseI have a dilemma with this book. It’s for a book tour, however I know I can’t rate it above a 2/5. So I emailed the tour to say I will just post the other part of my commitment on my tour date. But what do I do with my review? Wait until after the tour is over and then post it? I haven’t not written a review for a book that I’ve read since I started blogging. Not sure I could do that anymore. Any advice?

Books received:

Gimpse Fair Coin Ghost Planet
Glimpse (The Dwellers #1) by Sara Daniell – Upcoming book tour
Fair Coin (Coin #1) by EC Myers – won from Cait at Escape Through the Pages
Ghost Planet by Sharon Fisher – A Netgalley find. The first one I’ve requested in forever.

Deception Peak The Palace Job
Deception Peak (Ian’s Realm Saga #1) by Dianne Lynn Gardner – Upcoming book tour
The Palace Job by Patrick Weekes – Coming soon from Canadian small press Tyche Books

Ship to Shore by Elizabeth Krall ebook – Valli

  1. Wow you got some great books this week! I hope that your son is feeling better and that you are better soon!

  2. I hope you feel better soon. Maybe you should ask the tour company what they think of a review later on, since you are used to reviewing all your books it would be nice if you could, but at the same time I see what you mean about not knowing if you should.
