May 272012

This was a busy week at work. We finally moved locations. Well, we are half moved. All our stuff was packed on Friday, and we are in the new location on Monday. So next week will probably be hectic. And then I’m off for a week to BEA.

Based on the fact that I have totally failed at my goal to exit May with less review books than I started (net change is almost +30), I have decided to stop accepting review requests at this time. I have answered the backlog in my inbox, but anything new will be turned down. I hate to do this, but I’m starting to feel a little overwhelmed. My policy page has been updated.

Books received:
It’s an almost all ebook week. Just two physical books way at the bottom of the list: my RAK gift from Adam and a book I picked up at a local author signing yesterday.

First Visions (Second Sight #1) by Heather Topham Wood – June book tour
Differential Equations by Julian Iragorri and Lou Aronica
The Happy Housewife by Kate Cooch

Enchantment by Lawna Mackie
Minder by Sandra Cox
Falling Immortality: Casey Holden, Private Investigator by Robert Downs  – currently has a Goodreads giveaway open for a signed copy

Inspector of the Cross by John B Rosenman
Maven Fairy Godmother: Through the Veil by Charlotte Henley Babb
Phoenix by AJ Scudiere – I loved her past 2 books,  giving them each 5 star reviews, so I was super excited to get an email from the publisher telling me her latest was on Netgalley.

Cornerstone by Misty Provencher – won in giveaway at Kindle Fever
The Brotherhood of Piaxia by Michael Drakich
Mad Science Institute by Sechin Tower

Vizcaya by Lina Rivera
Ride the Moon edited by MLD Curelas
The Sceptre of Zanafiar by Reno Charlton

The Resonant by Shauna Leone
Our Blissful Bayou Beginnings (The Duck and the Doe #1) by Danielle Peterson
Justice (Deck of Lies #1) by Jade Varden

Florence by Ciye Cho

The Giver by Lois Lowry – RAK gift from Adam at Roof Beam Reader
Eavy by Laura Scoggins a local author who I met at a book signing at Cambridge Centre yesterday. Sorry, no pictures.

Have you read any of these yet? Which would you pick up first?
