On My Wishlist is a weekly meme started by Book City Chick. Every week I’ll introduce you to a book that’s on my extensive wishlist. Sometimes they are new books, but quite often they aren’t. Let me know if you’ve read it, and what you think.

The Alias by Mandi Tucker Slack

After a long and difficult divorce, Jacey is sure the worst is over. But when the FBI reveals some disturbing information about her ex-husband, she is forced into hiding to protect herself and her son. In the process, she risks losing her identity, her future, and her heart. Thrilling and suspenseful, this novel is an edge-of-your-seat read.

This seems to be on a lot of people’s “to-read” lists. I have few Goodreads friends with actual reviews, but the ones that do all seem to say it’s thrilling and suspenseful, like the summary says. It sounds like a great quick read.

  2. I tend not to read government thriller type books, so I don't think this one is for me, but I hope you take it off your wishlist and move it onto your “books I own and need to read” list very soon (my own list like that is WAY too long!)

  3. This sounds pretty tense! thanks for stopping by my blog yesterday…great to meet you (so to speak!)
