Mar 302012

March brought some crazy weather. For a week or so it was like summer. Complete with shorts and window fans at night. But this week is definitely normal March weather. Nice some hours of the day, and freezing cold at others. All in the same day. Crazy weather.

Personally, I haven’t really been online much. I scheduled all my posts a week or so ago, and took a mini break. I will be moving in April, so I will likely be doing a lot of pre-scheduling for the next month.

Books read:
In March – 14
Year-to-date – 39 – I’m currently 3 books ahead of schedule.

Posted in March:
Reviews -14 – I have 6 reviews to write and post still.
Discussion posts – 3 leftover posts – including one where I contemplate recruiting a new reviewer to join me
Author interviews – Ron D Smith, Jacqueline Paige, Paul Byers, John Barlow, Augusta Blythe
Author guest posts – LM Pruitt, Thomas Winship, Mayra Calvani, Rudy A. Mazzocchi, MJ Rose, Bryan Cohen

Challenge Status:
Canadian Book Challenge 5 – 18/13
2012 TBR Pile Reading Challenge – 16/30
Speculative Fiction Challenge 2012 – 21/24 – I will need to up my goal as of next month.
2012 Audio Book Challenge – 6/24
2012 Ebook Challenge – 30/100
2012 Self-Published Reading Challenge – 8/50
In Death Challenge – 6 read – no change this month

What’s coming in April?

– A special publisher feature. Black Opal Books authors will be stopping by with lots of guest posts, 11 of them to be exact. I really need to make a point to read one or two of their books to go along with the feature.

– It’s Easter! And that means it’s time for the Eggstravaganza Giveaway Hop. I didn’t do a big hop this month, and I missed it. They are so much fun.

– My birthday! I didn’t do up a button, but my birthday is next week, and I’ll be celebrating with a giveaway. It’s a special birthday, but I’ll share more on that later.

  1. Happy moving and happy early birthday!
You did good for March. I'm currently 6 books behind my normal pace this year…. but my progress comes out tomorrow evening. Hope you'll stop by and take a look.
    Happy April reading!

  2. Wow, busy month, Sarah! I think I'll be doing a lot of pre-scheduling in April so I can concentrate on other things, and maybe actually take a break, too.

We're not that far apart geographically, so we've been having the same crazy weather. Summer one hour, spring the next, winter the next lol. Oh, Canada, how we love thee. 😉
Good luck with the move, and happy early birthday! <3
