Havah by Tosa Lee

Sumary from Goodreads:
Created, not born.

The world’s first woman, without flaw until one fateful decision. Now all humanity must pay for the mistake.

From paradise to exile, from immortality to the death of Adam, experience the dawn of mankind through the eyes of Eve, the woman first known as Havah.

I saw this on a new books list at my local library. Not really a newly published, but newly acquired for the library.

The cover is beautiful. Very organic looking.

And the idea of reading the story of Eve from her perspective? Very interesting indeed.

  1. Never heard of this. I'll take a closer look. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

    Happy reading 🙂

  2. Very nice. I wonder if this is considered a religious fiction book or just based off the original story?

  3. I love reworkings of things like this. I've read Fallen by David Maine which is the covers the fall from the garden and what happened after with Cain and Abel (not a “religious fiction” book even though it's a bible story).

  4. I have never heard of this book, it looks like a very interesting read.

  5. From the reviews it sounds biblical but not religious, if there can be a distinction. Not “preachy” may be what I'm trying to say? It sounds good, it has some really nice reviews.

  6. This week's featured wish is about washing dishes Come see why I added it.

  7. I am hoping that it is biblical without being religious. I am not religious myself, but sometimes find books like this to be fascinating.
