Mini Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella is the latest in the Shopaholic series. I had read the rest of the series, and I found them very alike. After reading them, I always feel rushed, and overwhelmed.
Rebecca is a very scattered individual. She is delusional, and over the top. Reading through all the series, she doesn’t seem to grow or change at all. Some character development would have been nice.
I found the title a bit misleading. I expected it to be more about her and her daughter, and while that is a part of the story, the main focus is on a party Rebecca is throwing for her husband.
Overall, the story is humorous and light-hearted. Definitely a weekend read.
