The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson. I feel like I am one of the last people to read this book. But I definitely enjoyed it, and am eagerly awaiting the next volume from the library.
I was really confused about who was who for the first while. I was glad there was a family tree at the end of the first chapter. I looked at it a lot to keep everyone straight.
Once you get past that though, the story itself is very intriguing. There is a locked-room mystery that had a good number of twists and turns.
I found the character of Lisbeth to be interesting, and I’m looking forward to getting to know her better in the next few volumes. I did find her to be a little naive about her legal situation, which I found strange, since she is quite knowledgeable about so much.
Overall, I really enjoyed the book. I had a few people tell me that the rest of the trilogy is better, and easier to follow, so I am very much looking forward to them.
