Another lift-the-flap book we’re read recently is Dads by David Bedford. This is a really cute book with large half-page flaps. It tells how dads can do different, and funny, things.
My son enjoyed it, especially the page with the monkey in colourful pants. I personally liked the lion sleeping page.
I did find the flaps were too big. They were a little difficult to open and close. Especially since the pages are paper, not boards, so I was concerned about rippage. But no rips were made. Probably because my son didn’t want to lift the flaps himself, and while he would sit and read the book, he wouldn’t pick it out of the pile himself.
